Each lampshade has been individually made. Either by using quirky unusual fabric, or by hand painting and then transferring this onto the fabric, or by cyanotype.

Cyanotype is an alternative photographic process where light sensitive chemicals can be applied to the fabric, and an image becomes exposed through UV light such as the sun. I use local plants in my garden to create this lovely effect.
