Cold Process Soap Bars
It is called cold process because the soap is made at cool temperatures and no external heat is used to assist the saponification process.
Saponification is a chemical reaction provoked by mixing a fat (oils, butters, etc) with a strong base. This reaction creates two elements: glycerine and soap. Glycerine is a natural moisturiser.
The soap must then be cured for 4 to 6 weeks; this drying process allows the saponification to completely finish and the soap to dry.
Each bar is hand cut, weighed and wrapped, in bio-degradable wrapping. No two bars are the same.
